Having only really listened to I Became a Prostitute prior to this gig, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. As an opening it was a slight anti-climax due to some poor choices on the part of the sound technician...the first song was a wall of vocal-less noise. Things thankfully did improve after this, and once the band hit their stride it was a thoroughly enjoyable affair. The tracks sound very, very different live to how they are recorded, but not worse - just different. It was actually a pleasant surprise to discover this.

As stage shows go it wasn't the most spectacular for a band this full of energy, but it was only a small venue (the front of which was populated by a mosh pit of one...thank you, that guy, for providing endless entertainment) and the stage is pretty cramped as a result. Still, announcing to the audience that you might have just soiled yourself (thank you again, nameless mosh person) is always going to garner plenty of puerile laughs and added some levity to a good performance.
